Determine if your school needs a drug-testing program

• Conduct a surface assessment of the school premises.
• Administer student drug surveys.
• Report findings to the school board, school administrators and staff, parents and student council.
Locate funding sources
• Identify grant opportunities at the Federal, state and local level.
• Build partnerships with corporations, non-profits, and your community to support your efforts.
Learn what you need to know
• Establish a task force involving the Board of Education, parents, community leaders, local law enforcement, and treatment providers/counselors.
• Determine program objectives.
• Investigate legal issues.
